Part 1 - Complete Files Assignment
Welcome to Part 1 - Pre-Enrolment Assessment.
The following exercises will assist trainers to identify any additional support you might require in the areas of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN).
We may require you to undertake additional assessment if these exercises do not provide sufficient information to make a valuable assessment of your LLN competencies.
As part of the course requirements, you will need to be able to download and upload Microsoft Word and PDF files as well as video yourself in a number of workplace simulated activities.
So that we can assess your ability, please follow the instructions below to complete this task.
Step 1
To assess that your oral communication skills are at a Certificate IV level, click on the video recorder tool (below in the online text window) and record a 1-2 minute introduction video about yourself. In the video include your name and the reasons for choosing your selected course etc.
Step 2
Click on each of the buttons below to download the "Word Document" and "PDF Document" and save the files onto your computer, ensuring you remember the location where you are saving the documents.
Note: You will need to download any google drive files to your computer before you can edit the document.
Please ensure you complete the PDF document using Adobe Acrobat (or similar program) and NOT in your internet browser. Failing to do this will result in your work NOT saving. Click here to download for free if you do not already have it installed on your computer.
Step 3
Open each file using the correct program and complete the instructions within each document and save the changes once you have entered the required information.
Step 4
Upload your completed documents by either dragging and dropping the file into the window below or use the "add file" icon in the top left of the submission window and select the file you wish to upload by using the "browse/choose file option".
Click on "save changes" to submit it for grading.
