Activity 2: Role Play
WHAT CAN YOU SUGGEST?
Assume that you are still the barista at Lattetude. While arranging the cookies and fresh biscuits in the display case, your next two customers arrive at the café.
The first customer asks for a recommendation that is quick to prepare since they are in a hurry. They also request a drink with no milk since they are lactose-intolerant.
The second customer is a tourist who prefers to drink their coffee with milk. They cannot decide if they would like a café latte or a flat white. They ask for your help in differentiating the two drinks so that they can make an informed decision.Role Play Activity
Role play the scenario with two volunteers to display knowledge of different espresso drinks while demonstrating the practical skills listed in the checklist below.
Perform this activity while being observed by your trainer. If your trainer is not available to directly observe you, you may video record the role play activity and submit the recording to your trainer.
