VSL Fee Notice and VSL CAN Reports

In this update, VSL Reports can now be generated for Student Enrolments with VSL Enrolment = ON.

This is only available for clients with VSL module toggled ON in the Super Admin.

VSL Fee Notice and VSL CAN Templates

In Administration > Templates page > Document Templates tab, the following changes have been added:

• The following new Report Types can now be added as Document Templates:
  • VSL Fee Notice
  • VSL CAN

Generating VSL Reports in Student Enrolment

In Students page > Enrolments tab, the VSL Fee Notice and VSL CAN Reports can be generated.

• New options VSL Fee Notice and VSL CAN in the Action button will display if the following conditions are met:
  • Related Student Enrolment has VSL Enrolment is toggled ON.

• A default template has been set for VSL Fee Notice or VSL CAN in the Document Templates page.

Note: VSL Enrolment toggle appears only if the related Program Instance has Enable VET Student Loans toggled ON in the AVETMISS tab.

• VSL Fee Notice Report will follow the filename format:
  • VSL Fee Notice – [Student_Number] with the following data table information based on Student Unit > VSL Information:
    • Course Code – Unit Code
    • Course Name – Unit Name
    • Census day / upfront payment date – Unit > Census Date
    • Tuition fee covered by VSL – Unit >Amount Charged
    • Loan fee – Loan Fee
    • Tuition fee payable by student upfront – Unit > Amount Paid Upfront
    • Total tuition fee covered by VSL – Sum of Tuition fee covered by VSL
    • Total loan fee – Sum of Loan fee
    • Total tuition fee to be paid by student upfront – Sum of Total fee payable by student upfront
    • TOTAL VSL Debt/liability – Sum of Total tuition fee covered by VSL and Total loan fee

• VSL CAN VSL Fee Notice Report will follow the filename format:
  • VSL CAN – [Student_Number] with the following data table information based on Unit > VSL Information:
    • Course Code – Unit Code
    • Course Name – Unit Name
    • Census day / upfront payment date – Unit > Census Date
    • Tuition fee covered by VSL – Unit >Amount Charged
    • Loan fee – Loan Fee
    • Tuition fee payable by student upfront – Unit > Amount Paid Upfront
    • Tuition fee payable by student upfront by upfront payment date – Unit > Amount Paid Upfront
    • Total tuition fee covered by VSL – Sum of Tuition fee covered by VSL
    • Total loan fee – Sum of Loan fee
    • TOTAL VSL Debt/liability – Sum of Total tuition fee covered by VSL and Total loan fee
