Student Report
In this update, a new tab for Student Report has been added to the Reports page.
Student Report in SMS
The following key details regarding the Student Report are as follows:
- A new tab labelled Student has been added to the Reports page after the Attendance tab.
- The Student Report will show a data table of Students. The Report will have the same components with Enrolment Report which are:
- Saved Reports – The ability to add, save and load different reports with Inline Filters saved.
- Fields – The ability to select the columns that will be shown on the student data table.
- Search Function
- Student Data Table with Inline Filters
- Export Button – The ability to export the student data table.
- Student Report has the following features unique to the new report tab, these are:
- The No Enrolment toggle is used to display students that have no enrolment.
- Merge Mode toggle will be used to merge two students (explained further later)
- Using the Fields button, columns that show in the report can be edited.

- Selected Fields and Inline Filters can be saved and reloaded with the Saved Reports function, similar to Enrolment Reports.
- New – Add new Saved Student Report and can set as the Default Report.
- On first load, the Student Report tab will show the Default saved report if any.
- Users will need to click Search button for Student Data table to load.
- Changes to a saved report can also be saved with the Save button.
Merging Students in Student Reports
The ability to merge students is available in the Student Report, with the following details:
- To enable Merge, Merge Mode toggle to ON. Checkbox column will show up before the first column.
- Once a student is selected, the Merge button will appear after Fields button.
- When Merge is clicked, the Merge Student modal will appear wherein users will need to select a student to merge to on the Student Dropdown.
- For this example, selected student will be Student ID 6763.

- When clicking Save button to merge the students, a Warning message will display, and users will need to type MERGE. Otherwise, they will be unable to proceed
- Once merge is successful, message will appear.
- All Enrolment-related data like the Enrolment, Units, Invoices and all associated data from Student ID 6762 will be merged to Student ID 6763.
- Student-related data for Student ID 6763 will be retained.

- Student ID 6762 will also be deleted. Notice it has been removed from the Student Report.

Student Report for Trainer and Company Contact Portal
The Student Report tab will also be added for Trainer and Company Contacts login with a few differences:
- Only students related to the Group the Trainer is assigned to will display on the Student Report.
- For Company login, only students associated to the Company will display on the Student Report.
- For both Trainer and Company login, the No Enrolment toggle and Merge Mode toggle will not display.
Activity Logs for Student Report
Export and Merge actions will be recorded on the Activity and will be saved as Activity Types under a new Object Type called Reports Student.
- Export
- When export is done on the Student Report similar to other Reports, the action will be saved under Activity Type Export.
- Merge
- A new Activity Type wherein with the following data:
- Object Id will record the two (2) Student ID Numbers that were merged.
- Activity will be Merge.
- Description will be “Merge was done for [Student_Id_1] to [Student_Id_2]”
