    • UNIT PLAN

      Each term will contain a 'Unit Plan' tab. The purpose of the Unit Plan is to provide guidance for your Workplace Supervisor (Teacher) on the recommended timelines and sequencing for course completion. Use the assessment tabs at the top of the page to navigate throughout the term. Click here for a detailed description of the tab codes.

      SECTION 1

      KEY RESOURCES OVERVIEW

      The table below outlines the key resources that will be used throughout the term for learning and assessment. These resources will be available in the applicable tabs as they are required.

      KEY RESOURCES

      BDL Slides

      Binnacle Delivered Lesson (BDL) slides support the information delivered by a qualified Binnacle Trainer and Assessor via the BDL videos. These videos and slides can be accessed through the BDL tabs.

      Learner Companion

      A resource that contains all of the information that is needed in order to complete the corresponding Knowledge assessment and is available in the Applicable Resources section of the Assessment Information Box.

      Work Template

      An industry-specific document that often needs to be completed in project and practical assessment tasks e.g. a risk assessment.

      Supporting Resource

      A resource that will support completion of an assessment e.g. an example program/project guide.

      WEEK-BY-WEEK PLAN

      The Week-By-Week Plan is a guide of the timelines for assessment and content of each lesson. You will notice that Week 1 has been greyed out as it is part of the Pre-Enrolment Pack, which you must complete before Blocks 1-2.
