    STUDENT INSTRUCTIONS
    The Project Requirements (PR) tab is an overview of the term's project. You are to read through the outline of each assessment tab within the term project (Section 1) to familiarise yourself with the requirements for this term. In (Section 2) your teacher will mark the observation checklist for the performance skills that need to be demonstrated.
    • SECTION 1

      TERM PROJECT

      This term you will be required to participate in one major project, where you will demonstrate 'Using Business Software Applications' and 'Using Digital Technologies to Communicate in a Work Environment' by designing a travel package presentation on Schoolies Week for Go! Travel. In teams, you will prepare and draft promotional documents by collaborating both face-to-face and remotely before giving a presentation of your work.

      This project will focus on developing your knowledge and skills in producing digital text documents and workplace communication. These are skills that will assist in many areas of your future work and study.

      PROJECT #1

      Major Project (MP1.1 - MP1.3): Travel Package Presentation You will be allocated a number of sessions to develop your knowledge and skills of communicating effectively in the workplace by collaborating with team members both face-to-face and remotely for a promotional travel package for Go! Travel. This project consists of three assessment tabs as follows:

      • MP1.1 - Major Project: Travel Package Presentation (Part 1)
      • MP1.2 - Major Project: Travel Package Presentation (Part 2)
      • MP1.3 - Major Project: Travel Package Presentation (Part 3)

      You will be required to send and receive digital communication with your peers. Here are some ways teams can communicate digitally in the workplace:

      • Email
      • Google Chat and Microsoft Teams
      • Collaborate in shared Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
      • Use tagging, comment bubbles and notes documents
      • Zoom, Google Meet and Skype

      Seek approval from your teacher before selecting a digital communication tool.
